Changelog
Module releases
What each release of the AI Shopping Assistants module brings, newest first.
The downloads on the help page are version 6.46.0. To move to it, follow Upgrading the module. This list starts at 6.25.0.
Version 6.46.0
Released
Your shop works with AI agents in the shopper's browser
- Some AI assistants now act inside the shopper's own browser. The app offers them your shop's search and basket through WebMCP, a new web standard: an assistant can search your products, read a product's details, add it to the basket, change a quantity and go to your checkout, in the shopper's own session and at your shop's prices. It never pays; the shopper does that at your own checkout.
- It is free, needs no connection, and is on for each of your websites. The app's Settings screen has a WebMCP section for the website you pick: the switch and, if you take part in Chrome's WebMCP origin trial, a place for your own trial token. The token is optional; the app writes it into your shop's pages only when it is for your shop's own address, is a WebMCP token and has not expired, and the screen says which. Browsers are still adding WebMCP, and in a browser without it nothing changes. The new words in the app are in all eight of its languages.
- The Odoo Apps listing now has a section, "Your shop works with AI agents in the shopper's browser", and a row for it in the table of what is free and what comes with the Zaltric service.
Version 6.45.0
Released
A personal shopper your customers add to their own AI assistant
- With the Zaltric service, your shop now offers its customers a personal shopper they add to their own AI assistant. A page on your shop, /shopper, gives them one line to paste into their assistant, the skill to download (SKILL.md, or a zip for Claude) and the steps for Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini. Their assistant then searches your products, with prices and stock as your shop has them, and builds their basket; they pay at your shop's own checkout.
- It is on for each of your websites once your shop is connected and its shop window is live, on every paid plan and during the trial. The app's Settings screen has a Shopper skill section for the website you pick: the switch, the line your customers paste with a Copy button, and the three addresses. Switch it off there and the three addresses answer "not found".
- Nothing is sent anywhere: the skill and the page are written from what your Odoo already knows, each time they are asked for. The new words in the app are in all eight of its languages.
- The Odoo Apps listing now has a section, "Your customers bring your shop into their own AI assistant", and a row for it in the table of what is free and what comes with the Zaltric service.

Released
Stock and prices checked live, messages and combo products through AI assistants, notices for shoppers, and the app in eight languages
- On every paid plan and trial, when an AI assistant looks at one of your products, the shop window now asks your Odoo for its price and stock at that moment. Searches still read your last update, which reaches them within 15 minutes. If your Odoo is slow or does not answer, the assistant is told what your last update said, and nothing fails.
- Shoppers can now message you from inside an AI assistant. Each message lands in the conversation of the sale it is about in your Odoo, written as that customer, with a last line naming where it came from, and you reply there as you do today. A message marked as a return request gets a dated receipt at once, which your Odoo e-mails to the customer, and gives your salesperson a to-do due in 14 days. A sale read through the shop window now also lists its returns, credit notes and card refunds, each with the state your Odoo records. Zaltric keeps no copy of any message.
- Combo products, such as a lunch set with a main and a side, are now offered whole to AI assistants: each part of the set is an option and each item a choice, with what it adds to the price. The order in your Odoo then holds exactly the lines your own shop makes for a combo.
- Products sold by weight, length or time now say their unit, and on Odoo 19 and 20 a basket can hold 1.5 kg as your own basket does (Odoo 18's basket takes whole units, and AI assistants are told that). When your shop shows Odoo's unit price, AI assistants get it as Odoo shows it. On Odoo 20, a product's minimum quantity raises the basket line the way your own shop does, and says so.
- Under Settings you can now add notices for shoppers: an age limit, allergens, safety, delivery or anything else, for the whole shop or chosen products and countries. AI assistants must show them next to the item. A tax line ("Prices include VAT.") is added for you from Odoo's own settings, and your checkout's "Accept Terms & Conditions" box is carried to a checkout inside an AI assistant. A notice does not check anybody's age.
- When a customer signs in from an AI assistant, it can now read their language and currency, and the products they have had from you before (up to twenty), with a switch under customer sign-in for whether colleagues' purchases in the same company account count. Nothing else about them is shared.
- Each page you let AI assistants quote can now be marked as your returns, warranty, shipping or privacy policy, and the basket carries them. When an AI assistant lists your products with no search words, they come in the same sequence as your shop page's Featured sorting, and a product with an empty sales description uses its website description.
- When you delete a website in Odoo, Zaltric stops serving it. A website open to signed-in customers only, and subscription and rental products, are no longer shown to AI assistants, and Settings says so. An update that would mark almost every product out of stock at once is not published, and your dashboard says why.
- With the Zaltric service, your dashboard reads your market from your shop's country instead of its currency. The free OCA Brand add-on's brand is used where it is installed, the app's own product feed for search engines on Odoo 18 carries your sale dates, and the product list for AI assistants is rebuilt when a sale starts or ends. A new Setup check line says when a web server or tunnel in front of your Odoo makes it give out http:// addresses, and the help page says what to set.
- Settings, Connection now says how to send somebody a copy of your Odoo without your Zaltric key (Odoo's Neutralize option), and your Zaltric account can cancel and renew the key of an Odoo at once if a copy has already gone out; the help page has the steps. After Zaltric has refused your key, pressing Connect with a fresh pairing code now replaces it, with nothing to delete first. Pairing again, a busy pairing and a refused key are all described in plainer words.
- On Odoo 20, your llms.txt now comes from this app too, through Odoo 20's own llms.txt address. If you have typed text in Odoo 20's own llms.txt box, your text comes first, word for word, and the app's sections on your catalogue and on checkout follow underneath it. The file keeps one title: yours, or the app's if your text has none. If the box is empty, the app's file is served whole, as on Odoo 18 and 19.
- The app now speaks German, French, Dutch, Spanish, Latin American Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese; until now every shop saw it in English. The translations are AI drafts that no native speaker has reviewed: please tell us through the contact form when one reads wrong. The robots.txt lines and the app's page on Odoo Apps stay in English.
- An AI assistant that signed in for a customer before you update must sign in again before it can message your shop.
Version 6.43.0
Released
Sales referred by an assistant's link, the app's screens on Odoo 20 and in dark mode, and Stripe told sooner when delivery changes
- Some orders now carry a "Referred by" line above their title. It names the AI assistant whose own link brought the sale, where a sale through an assistant's checkout says "Started by". For now, one assistant's maker says its links carry that tag, and only its links are read this way. Anybody can make such a link, so it is not verified: these sales are kept apart from your sales through checkout and never added to them. The Overview and the Sales and visits screen show them beside your sales, and How we count says what each figure counts. This is free on every install.
- Your orders list can now be grouped by two new fields. One is AI assistant; the other is How it came, which says whether the shopper buys at checkout or arrives through a link. Odoo's own pivot and graph views of your orders read the same two fields. Orders from before you update are filled in by the update.
- If you run Odoo 20, please update to 6.43.0. In 6.41.0 and 6.42.0 every screen of the app opened in Odoo's "Oops!" box on Odoo 20. The screens now open again, and figures that showed blank show as they do on Odoo 18 and 19.
- In Odoo's dark mode, the lines between the rows of the app's tables, the empty part of each sales bar and the line above How we count are visible again. Each release is now checked by opening the app's screens in a real browser, in light and dark mode.
- With the Zaltric service and sales through Stripe, a change that could stop a sale or make a wrong one now reaches Stripe at the next run instead of with the next daily list: your delivery methods and prices, whether a product may be sold through Stripe, whether its price includes tax, whether its stock is counted, and a product you no longer offer. Other product details, such as a title or a photo, go at most once an hour. Stock and price changes still go on their own, as before.
- The app's page on Odoo Apps now says that sales from an assistant's own links are named and kept apart. Its third picture is your orders list, grouped by the two new fields.
Version 6.42.0
Released
Delivery prices and delivery times, Stripe prices that match your checkout, and each website's products kept to its own company
- Your home page now states a delivery method with a fixed price that is limited to some postcodes in the US, Canada or Australia, with the postcodes it serves, when they are set as a plain list of starting figures. Methods priced by weight or limited to some products are still not stated.
- A new Delivery times section on the app's Settings screen takes the days to dispatch and the days in transit for each delivery method with a fixed price, in working days. Once you fill them in, your home page states them for search engines and AI assistants. The delivery time line on the Grade screen opens that setting.
- When your price list is in a different currency from your company, delivery prices and the order total from which delivery is free are now stated in the price list's currency, exactly as your checkout charges them. With the Zaltric service, a shop whose company is not in US dollars can now take sales through Stripe from its US dollar price list.
- With the Zaltric service, the prices your products carry in Stripe are now worked out by your Odoo's own checkout, so a sale through Stripe is charged exactly what your checkout would charge. Switch on Product price and availability in your Stripe Dashboard, under Settings, Agentic Commerce, and Stripe asks your Odoo for a product's price and stock instead of waiting for the next catalogue update. If your shop sells in another currency, give your US dollar price list fixed prices, or a formula with Odoo's rounding rules: otherwise an order for more than one of a product can come out a cent away from what Stripe expects, and is declined.
- A security fix for an Odoo with more than one company, each with its own website. A website's product files for AI assistants and its products in Stripe, and on Odoo 18 the app's own product feed for search engines, could include products that belong only to another company. Each website now lists only its own company's products and the products shared by every company. No shopper could buy such a product through the wrong website: the checkout already refused it. The lists are put right at their next nightly rebuild after you update, or when you next save the app's settings. A database with one company is not affected.
- The app's page on Odoo Apps now opens with what the free app does, and lists your delivery prices and delivery times among what is free.
Version 6.41.0
Released
Your own switch for customer sign-in, an Overview that leads with sales, and stock and prices within 15 minutes
- Customer sign-in from AI assistants now has a setting of its own on the app's Settings screen, Let customers sign in from AI assistants, off until you switch it on. Your Odoo then checks every 15 minutes, and with every update it sends, that your shop is ready for it, and says in plain words what to fix when it is not. If the checks keep failing for a day, sign-in stops and your administrators are emailed. Switching it off signs every customer out.
- The Overview now leads with three figures, your sales from AI assistants this month, their visits and your grade, then one table of visits and sales by assistant.
- Every status in the app is one of five words, Working, Waiting, Needs you, Not working or Not connected, each with a drawn symbol beside it, and the app follows Odoo's own light and dark themes. The Settings screen is laid out as Odoo's own settings, and every screen has Odoo's own control panel.
- Your grade in the app now lists the same lines as the checker's report, delivery time and delivery options at checkout included, with the checker's verdict sentence under the grade.
- A price rule with a start or end date now sends an update when it starts or ends, so the new price reaches AI assistants within 15 minutes. With the Zaltric service, stock and price changes reach AI assistants within 15 minutes on every plan, and the app says when both your stock and prices and your other changes will arrive.
- A shop that has not connected yet is pointed at Zaltric's plans, and the Settings screen's list of what is free now names the sales line and your grade.
Version 6.40.0
Released
Take sales through Stripe, and every delivery method for US shops
- With the Zaltric service, your shop can now take sales through Stripe. AI assistants connected to your own Stripe account can offer your products, Stripe takes the payment into that account, and each sale arrives in your Odoo as an order.
- It is off until you switch on Take sales through Stripe on the app's Settings screen and tick that you have accepted Stripe's terms for it in your Stripe Dashboard. Selling then starts by itself once every check on that screen passes: Odoo's Stripe payment app with a working Stripe key, a price list in US dollars, at least one delivery method, your products sent to Stripe and accepted there, the address for Stripe's order checks reaching your shop, and a first message from Stripe about your sales and a first order check, each verified by your Odoo. A test event sent from your Stripe Dashboard to each address is enough.
- The checks run again after every product update. If one fails, selling stops by itself and your products are taken off Stripe. If none has passed for a day, selling stops too and your Odoo's administrators are emailed. Either way it starts again by itself once the checks pass.
- Switching it off stops selling at once and takes every product your shop sent off your Stripe catalogue. Sales already paid still arrive in your Odoo.
- If something goes wrong, Zaltric can pause your shop's sales through Stripe at once. Selling stops as it does when you switch it off, the app's Settings screen says so, and it starts again only after Zaltric lifts the pause.
- Refunds and disputes made in Stripe are noted on the order, each with an activity for you: a refund asks you to issue the credit note, and a dispute carries Stripe's deadline for your evidence. No credit note or refund is posted for you.
- Every sale and every check Stripe sends your shop is verified in your Odoo with the two signing secrets you copy from your Stripe Dashboard into the app's settings. The secrets stay in your Odoo.
- A US shop that shows prices without tax now states every delivery method, with the amount over which delivery is free, in what your home page tells AI assistants and in your products in Stripe. Before, a method with such a threshold was left out. Shops in the UK and the EU that show prices without tax still leave it out, because there the threshold counts tax and the prices shown do not.
Version 6.39.0
Released
Card payments inside AI assistants, and a renamed assistant
- With the Zaltric service and card payments switched on, a shopper chatting with an AI assistant can now pay you by card without leaving the conversation. The payment is taken on your own Stripe account through the Stripe payment provider you set up in Odoo, and your shop confirms the sale once Stripe has taken it, as it does for a card payment on your website.
- Card payments for AI assistants are off until you switch them on, shop by shop, in the app's settings, with checkout inside AI assistants and your terms and privacy pages. They need a Stripe payment provider in your Odoo, a Stripe account ready for payments from AI assistants, and the AI service to have accepted your shop.
- Your usual order confirmation email goes out a moment after the payment. A declined card is reported back so the shopper can try another, and the quotation stays a quotation. The card's single-use token is never stored, by Zaltric or by your Odoo.
- A quotation such a checkout leaves unpaid is deleted a day or two after its checkout ends, unless the shopper opened it in their browser or a payment for it is still being settled.
- The AI service is told when such a sale is confirmed, delivered, cancelled or refunded, at the address and with the secret it gives you, entered in the app's settings.
- In your visits and sales reports, one AI assistant's name now leads with the part of it where shoppers check out, rather than its search summaries. A name you gave it yourself is kept.
Version 6.38.0
Released
Where each sale began, one checkout per basket, and Grok
- When a sale began in an AI service and came through Zaltric, the order now says so: a line above its title names the service, or gives a general label when the service did not prove who it is. One internal note on the order says the same, and it emails nobody.
- Your Quotations and Sales Orders lists can show only these sales, and can group them by the service they began in. An administrator can rename the services, and the names are kept when you upgrade.
- When an AI assistant asks to check out the same basket again, your shop answers with the checkout it already opened, and a basket that is being paid for is never opened a second time.
- Grok, from xAI, is now recognised: in your visits as Grok Bot (xAI), and on a sale that began in Grok's chat as Grok (xAI).
- The Sales and visits screen lists every assistant we can recognise, with each one's share of the week's visits. One that has not visited shows 0.
Version 6.37.0
Released
Your grade in the app, shipping by state, and the new version seen at once
- Once your shop is connected, the app's Grade screen shows the same score and letter as check.zaltric.com, with what would raise it. Check again asks for one new check of your shop, only when you press it.
- Your home page now tells search engines your delivery methods that are limited by state, state by state, where those states can be named.
- When an AI assistant's checkout sends an address with no state, or one your Odoo does not recognise, and your delivery depends on the state, the checkout asks for the state instead of saying your shop does not deliver there.
- After you upgrade the module, your Zaltric account shows the new version straight away, instead of the next day.
Version 6.36.0
Released
Shorter screens, better search, and the 2026-04-08 cart version
- The app's screens are shorter: each part says one sentence, with Learn more for the rest on the help page.
- A failing check, and a problem with your connection, are still said in full, with what to do.
- When an AI assistant searches your shop window, the products whose names match what the shopper asked come first: a search for a pan answers with pans.
- Your agent profile is also published in the protocol's 2026-04-08 version, for AI assistants that build baskets in that version. It is published once your shop is connected, at your shop's own https address.
Version 6.35.0
Released
Everything in the app, and more of your shop's facts for AI assistants
- Every setting is now in the AI Shopping Assistants app. Odoo's Settings shows one AI Shopping Assistants block, with Open the app.
- An old bookmark to the full AI Shopping Assistants settings page no longer opens it: Odoo's Settings shows one block that opens the app, where every setting now is.
- The app's Settings screen now says in full what went wrong when something fails, which shops are kept up to date, which websites are not shops yet, and what one update carries. The upgrade notice links to how to upgrade.
- A refused pairing code now points to your connect page, where a new code is made.
- If your browser does not let the app copy a feed address, the address is saved as a small text file instead. It is never shown on screen.
- The Overview says that it shows things as they were when you opened it.
- Your product pages now tell search engines and AI assistants each product's brand, SKU and stock, and which product a variant belongs to.
- Your home page now tells them your contact page, your fixed-price delivery methods with their prices and, once you fill in the new returns settings on the app's Settings screen, your returns policy.
Version 6.34.0
Released
From install to connected, on the Overview
- After you install the module from Odoo's Apps screen, it opens on the Overview once, so you can connect straight away. It does not do this again, and an upgrade does not do it at all. If Odoo's own website setup is still open, that comes first.
- Before you connect, the Overview says what to publish first: a website, a shop on it, and at least one product with a price. You can connect before the products are published.
- Connecting is three steps on the Overview: get your code from your Zaltric account, paste it, and Connect.
- While your code is checked, the Overview says so. If the code is refused, the reason shows under the box with Get a new code, and nothing is kept.
- If your shop is connected but waiting to be switched on, the Overview says why, with Check your subscription.
- If you have no Zaltric account, Ask for an invitation opens the contact page with the subject filled in.
Version 6.33.0
Released
Assistants, Sales and visits, Check and Settings screens in the app
- AI Shopping Assistants now has five menus: Overview, Assistants, Sales and visits, Check and Settings.
- Assistants shows where your shop stands with each AI service, for finding your products and for checkout, with a line on what each one needs.
- Sales and visits shows this week's visits by assistant and this month's sales, and How we count says exactly what is counted.
- Check is the module's readiness check: anything that needs attention comes first, the rest folds away, and Run the check again checks once more.
- Settings is the app's own settings screen, one shop at a time: your connection and shop reference, the shop time zone, your product feeds and the checkout switch, and the pages assistants may quote. Save and Discard apply only to real settings; Send an update now and Rebuild now act at once and say what they did.
- The secret addresses of your product feeds are never shown on screen. Copy address puts one on your clipboard, so you can paste it where it is needed.
- The full Settings page still works, and its first line now points to the new screens.
Version 6.32.0
Released
AI Shopping Assistants is now an app of its own, with an Overview
- AI Shopping Assistants now has its own place on Odoo's home screen, with two menus: Overview and Settings. In Odoo's Apps list it now appears among the apps.
- The Overview shows, on one screen, whether your connection to Zaltric is working and when your last update arrived. When something needs attention it says what, and offers the one button that helps, such as Send an update now.
- What a shopper sees: one of your own products as an AI assistant would present it, with the price and stock your shop shows a visitor. Show another product steps through others.
- Who is visiting: this week's visits from AI assistants, by assistant, with this month's sales line under them. A shop that is not connected sees its visits too, below the three steps to connect.
- What to do next: anything the readiness check marks as needing attention, or a short line saying nothing does.
- If you run more than one shop, a picker at the top switches between them.
- The Settings page is unchanged, apart from a link to the Overview at the top.
Version 6.31.1
Released
A new app icon, and a note when a newer version is out
- The module's icon in Odoo's Apps list and on its Settings screen is now the Zaltric logo mark.
- Once your shop is connected, the Settings screen says when a newer version of the module is available, and links to how to upgrade. To find out, your Odoo reads a small public file from Zaltric's download site once a night; that request carries nothing about your shop.
- Your Zaltric dashboard shows the same: an Update available note on a shop's card when that shop's module is older than the current release for its Odoo version.
Version 6.31.0
Released
This month's sales from AI assistants on the Settings screen, and security fixes
- The Settings screen shows, under the count of visits, what AI assistants brought your shop this month, at least: how many sales and what they came to. It counts only sales that came through the Zaltric shop window and that you confirmed, and only what was sold there.
- Sales from links that only say they came from an AI assistant are shown on a separate line, marked as not verified.
- A sale made through the shop window records where it came from in Odoo's own Source, Medium and Campaign fields, so your usual sales reports can group by it.
- Security fixes, all on by default and with nothing to set up. Checkout limits now apply to each visiting AI assistant separately, so one busy one cannot use up the allowance for the rest.
- Your shop opens at most 200 checkouts an hour for shoppers who are not signed in, from callers that cannot prove who they are. Past that, new ones are asked to wait, for at most an hour. Signed-in customers are never affected.
- A basket opened that way is not sent Odoo's abandoned-basket e-mail until somebody opens it in a browser through its own link, because the e-mail address on it was typed by the caller.
- A stricter check means a product of another company in the same Odoo can never be offered through your shop.
- Your Odoo reads at most 1 MB of any answer from Zaltric's service and stops waiting after 60 seconds.
- Uninstalling the module also removes a leftover maintenance setting.
- There was never a 6.30.0: the number was skipped.
Version 6.29.1
Released
A security fix for checkouts
- A checkout is now only ever shown to the caller who opened it, never to another caller with the same basket. Every shop should take this release.
Version 6.29.0
Released
Test payments on Zaltric's own demonstration shops
- Zaltric's demonstration shops can take a test payment through Odoo's own Demo payment provider. It is off on every other shop and has no setting, so nothing changes on yours.
Version 6.28.0
Released
Order updates go straight from your Odoo
- When an order made through a checkout is confirmed, cancelled or delivered, your Odoo tells the AI service that opened that checkout, directly, without passing through Zaltric. It does so only for a service that proved who it was with its own digital signature.
- A new scheduled action does the telling, every minute, and tries again when the service does not answer. The help page lists it under For your developer.
Version 6.27.0
Released
Your shop gets its own digital signing key
- Once your shop is connected, your Odoo makes its own signing key, so the AI services it deals with can check that a message really came from your shop.
- An AI service that opened a checkout, and proved who it was, can read back the confirmed result of that checkout, and nothing else.
Version 6.26.1
Released
Plainer words on the module's screens
- Fifty-two lines on the module's own screens were rewritten in plain words, without technical terms or long dashes. Nothing else changed.
Version 6.26.0
Released
Your shop stops pointing AI assistants at a shop window that is switched off
- When a subscription ends, or a smaller plan no longer covers the shop, Zaltric switches its shop window off. From then on, the description of your shop that AI assistants read stops naming the shop window, so they are not pointed at a service that turns them away.
- When you subscribe again, the next update puts it back by itself.
- The Settings screen no longer says the shop stays published while its shop window is switched off.
Version 6.25.5
Released
A clean uninstall, and a clearer store page
- Uninstalling the module now removes every setting it wrote, so nothing of the connection stays behind in your Odoo.
- The module's page in the Odoo Apps store shows, in a table, what the free module does and what the Zaltric service adds.
Version 6.25.4
Released
The Settings section is named AI Shopping Assistants
- The module's section in Settings, its scheduled actions and its nightly e-mail say AI Shopping Assistants where they said Zaltric Sync.
- The module's page in the Odoo Apps store opens with what a shopper sees.
Version 6.25.3
Released
Names, regions and order figures follow Odoo's own rules
- A customer's name, their region and an order's prices, discounts and totals are worked out by Odoo's own rules, the same at checkout and when an order is read back.
- Signed-in customers see the past orders that Odoo's own customer portal would show them, and only the lines Odoo's own reorder feature would offer are offered again.
- On Odoo 20, catalogue prices come from Odoo's own pricing, in the price list's own currency. A shop whose public price list is not the first one its website offers may see catalogue prices change to Odoo's own.
- A discount code with nothing to discount stays on the basket and applies once the basket holds something it discounts, as it does on your own shop.
Version 6.25.2
Released
Renamed AI Shopping Assistants, and a security fix
- In Odoo's Apps list the module is called AI Shopping Assistants; it was Zaltric Sync. Its folder is still agsync_connector.
- Nothing leaves your Odoo for Zaltric until you connect your shop.
- A security fix: the pages your customers sign in on answer only once your shop is connected.
Version 6.25.1
Released
Checkouts follow your own checkout more closely
- A signed-in customer who buys for a company is offered the company's delivery addresses, as your own checkout offers them.
- With Odoo's Click and Collect, Pick up in store is offered as collection from one of your stores, not as delivery to the shopper's home.
- A delivery method where the shopper picks a pickup point on the carrier's map is left to your own shop's page, where the map is.
- A basket of services takes the buyer's name and e-mail address the way your own billing form does.
- Clearer messages for a country code your Odoo does not know and for an address with no country.
Version 6.25.0
Released
A shop bigger than its plan is sent in part
- A shop bigger than its Zaltric plan is no longer refused whole. The update sends the part the plan carries, in the order your shop page lists its products, and the Settings screen says how much was sent and how much was left out.
- A big catalogue is sent in parts, and none of it is applied until the last part has arrived.
