Terms
Subscription terms
The contract formed when you subscribe. Short, and in plain English.

The parties
The service is provided by ZALTRIC LIMITED, registered in England and Wales (company details on the company page), to the business that subscribes. By subscribing you confirm that you are acting in the course of a business, not as a consumer. Consumer cancellation and withdrawal rights do not apply.
What the service is
Zaltric receives your shop's product details from the module installed in your Odoo and, for as long as you are subscribed, keeps a hosted shop window that AI shopping assistants can search, and which sends a shopper to your own checkout. It also shows you, inside Odoo and on this site, a table, marked with the date it was checked, of where each AI channel stands in each market.
What it is not:
- Zaltric does not control whether, or when, any AI channel opens a market or admits your shop. The table says what we know on the date shown on it, and it may lag or be wrong. Subscribing does not buy a listing on any channel.
- Zaltric does not take payment from shoppers or hold orders. Purchases happen at your checkout, are charged on your own Stripe account through your Odoo if you switch on card payments for AI assistants, or are charged by Stripe directly into your own Stripe account if you take sales through Stripe; orders are kept in your own Odoo. When a shopper checks out through an AI assistant, their name, email address, phone number and delivery address pass through Zaltric's shop window into your Odoo, which keeps them on a quotation in your Sales app. Your Odoo's answer, with the basket's items, totals and any discount code, goes back the same way. Where Zaltric has switched it on for your shop, a customer with an account on your shop can also sign in from their AI assistant. The prices and orders they then ask to see, and the delivery addresses your checkout offers them, go from your Odoo, through the shop window, to them. When a checkout through an AI assistant becomes a sale, your Odoo reports it directly to that AI assistant's platform; if the platform asks for the order, it is read through the shop window and not kept. Zaltric does not keep any of these details.
- Zaltric does not set the price a shopper pays. A shopper handed to your checkout is priced again by your own Odoo, with that shopper's own pricelist and taxes, and confirms that number before anything is added to a basket.
- Zaltric does not promise any number of visits, purchases or sales. The service is the hosted shop window and the connection, kept running.
Trial and billing
14-day free trial on every plan for a new customer. Your card is taken at checkout and first charged in 14 days; cancel before then from your account and nothing is charged. The trial covers one shop, at the catalogue size and speed of the plan you are trying. Subscribing again after a cancellation starts billing straight away, with no second trial.
For 12 months after a Zaltric account is deleted, a new account with the email address it signed in with is not a new customer: it gets no free trial and is charged from the start.
Plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, through Stripe. Prices exclude VAT and other sales taxes. Where tax applies, it is calculated and shown at checkout. If your business is VAT-registered, enter your VAT number at checkout and VAT is normally not added. Prices are in US dollars. If a payment fails, we try again over about two weeks. If none of the attempts succeeds, the subscription is cancelled.
We may change prices. A change applies from your next renewal, and we tell you by email before it does, so that you can cancel first.
Cancelling
Cancel at any time from your billing page. Cancelling stops the next charge; the subscription runs to the end of the period already paid for and then ends. Periods already paid for are not refunded, except where we have failed to provide the service.
The account's owner can also delete the account from the account pages. The subscription then stops renewing straight away, and the account is deleted by itself 7 days later unless the owner keeps it; the subscription ends with it. The period already paid for is not refunded.
A subscription also ends when a free trial ends without a payment, or when a payment fails and none of the attempts above succeeds. When a subscription ends, Zaltric stops accepting updates from your Odoo and stops serving your shop window, and AI assistants are told your shop is not being served. Unless you delete your account, nothing is deleted: if you subscribe again, your shop window comes back by itself, with the same catalogue.
Catalogue size
Each plan covers a catalogue size per shop, shown for each plan on the pricing page. Where a shop is larger than your plan covers, the module inside your Odoo sends the part your plan carries, first in the order your shop lists its products, and the rest is not sent to Zaltric or shown in your shop window. A version of the module older than 6.25.0 sends nothing for such a shop until it fits. No plan covers more than 2,000 products or 10,000 variants for one shop.
Your side
- You must have the right to publish the product details you send us.
- One subscription connects one live Odoo database. A copy, a staging site or a restore is not connected to the same subscription.
- Keep your pairing codes and your connection reference (the code and the ID that link your Odoo to Zaltric) to yourself; a code connects whatever Odoo it is pasted into.
- Do not use the service to publish anything unlawful, or to interfere with it or with any channel.
Data
How we handle the data the service involves is in the privacy notice. Your product details are processed to provide the service and for nothing else.
Changes to the service
We improve the service continuously, and every paid plan gets every capability we ship. We may also withdraw a capability; if a withdrawal materially reduces what you subscribed for, you may cancel and we refund the unused part of the period.
Liability
Our total liability to you under this contract in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. We are not liable for lost sales, lost profit or any indirect loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending the contract
We may suspend or end the service if you break these terms, if payment fails and is not put right, or if we stop offering the service, in which case we refund the unused part of the period.
Law
This contract is governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
