What Zaltric is, and how to start, step by step
Zaltric is two things: a free module that runs inside your Odoo, and an optional hosted service. Together they make your shop visible to AI assistants, with the sale made in your own Odoo.
That hosted service is the shop window: a copy of your catalogue, kept current from your Odoo, that AI assistants can search. When a shopper is ready to buy, it sends them to your own checkout with the basket filled.

Check your shop, free.
Type your shop's address into the free check. There is no sign-up. It gives your shop a letter grade, and tells you in plain words what an AI assistant can and cannot see.

Install the free module.
Download it from the help page, for Odoo 18, 19 or 20 with the eCommerce app, Community or Enterprise. On your own server, put its folder in your addons path and restart Odoo; on Odoo.sh, add it to your repository and push. It is a job for whoever looks after your Odoo, or your integrator. No account needed.

Not on Odoo Online: Odoo Online does not allow apps that are not Odoo's own, so this module cannot be installed there. It needs your Odoo on Odoo.sh or on your own server.

The module runs inside your Odoo, on your own server, and sends product details. Orders are made in your own Odoo; money goes to your account, and card numbers do not pass through Zaltric. When a shopper checks out through an AI assistant, their name, email address, phone number and delivery address pass through Zaltric's shop window into your Odoo, which keeps them on a quotation in your Sales app. Your Odoo's answer, with the basket's items, totals and any discount code, goes back the same way. Where Zaltric has switched it on for your shop, a customer with an account on your shop can also sign in from their AI assistant. The prices and orders they then ask to see, and the delivery addresses your checkout offers them, go from your Odoo, through the shop window, to them. When a checkout through an AI assistant becomes a sale, your Odoo reports it directly to that AI assistant's platform; if the platform asks for the order, it is read through the shop window and not kept. Zaltric does not keep any of these details.

Two ways to be found.
A feed is a list of your products that tells an AI assistant you exist, and it costs nothing.
A feed cannot be searched and cannot send a shopper anywhere. The shop window does both: AI assistants search your catalogue in it, and it sends the shopper to your checkout with the basket filled.
Which feeds your Odoo makes, version by version
Odoo 19 and Odoo 20 make a Google feed themselves, once Google Merchant Center is switched on in their website settings; Odoo 18 has none, so the free module makes one for it. None of them builds the product list ChatGPT needs, so the free module builds that one too, on 18, 19 and 20. Claude takes no feed: it searches your catalogue through your shop window, once the window is connected to it.

My Odoo already makes a Google feed. Why do I need this?
Keep the feed: it gets your products found. A feed cannot be searched, and it cannot send a shopper anywhere. That takes the shop window, which sends the shopper to your own checkout. Your Odoo has the last word: it prices the basket again and applies its own stock rules before the shopper pays, exactly as it does for a shopper who arrived through your website.
Where does the money go when a shopper arrives from an AI assistant?
To you. The shopper pays on your own checkout, exactly as if they had clicked through, unless you switch on card payments for AI assistants: then an AI assistant can pay with a single-use Stripe token, charged on your own Stripe account through your Odoo Stripe provider. If you take sales through Stripe, Stripe takes the payment into your own Stripe account, and the sale arrives in your Odoo as an order. In every case, Zaltric does not take the payment, and the order is made and kept in your own Odoo.
I am not in the US. What do I get today?
The free module publishes your shop's description for AI assistants from your Odoo today, and the readiness check runs today, the same everywhere. The hosted shop window works the same everywhere (in the UK and the EU exactly as in the US): an AI assistant can search your catalogue, and the window sends the shopper to your own checkout. Sending shoppers on to your checkout through a particular AI service switches on service by service and market by market, only where that service is open to your shop.
What happens if I stop paying?
Your subscription ends at the close of the period you have paid for once you cancel, when a free trial ends without a payment, or when a card payment still fails after about two weeks of tries. Until then everything stays live. When it ends, Zaltric stops accepting updates from your Odoo and stops serving your shop window, and AI assistants are told your shop is not being served. Nothing is deleted: subscribe again and your shop window comes back by itself, with the same catalogue. The module keeps working inside your Odoo, free, and nothing in it is changed.
What is the Zaltric Score?
It is Zaltric's own measure of how well AI assistants can see and use your shop: a number out of 100 and a letter, from the free check at check.zaltric.com. Your shop's part counts for 60 points and your software's for 40. A shop earns the same points for the same thing, whoever set it up, Zaltric or anyone else.
