Problem
That update priced your shop in money it does not sell in.
The message on your screen: “Batch would price this shop in a currency that is not its own” (HTTP 422)
You saw this under the status on the Overview of the AI Shopping Assistants app. If you write to us, quote this page's address: https://zaltric.com/problems/store_currency_rejected.
What it means
A shop on Zaltric sells in one currency. It is fixed when the shop is set up, and an update from your Odoo cannot move it, so that a shopper is never quoted a price in money the shop cannot take. That update either named a currency Zaltric does not recognise, priced one of the products in different money from the update it arrived in, or would have moved the whole shop across to something else. It was refused, and your shop goes on selling in the currency it had.
What to do next
- Read the detail under the status on the app's Overview: it names the currency that arrived and, where the shop's own currency was being moved, the one it sells in.
- In Odoo, check the price list that website uses. If it is priced in a currency you did not mean to use, put the old one back and press Send an update now.
- If Zaltric does not recognise the currency at all, it is either one somebody typed into Odoo by hand or a code newer than the list we carry. For the first, put an ordinary currency back on that price list in Odoo. For the second, send us the code through the contact form (zaltric.com/contact): only we can add it.
- If you did mean to change what the shop sells in, re-price that website in Odoo first, on its own price list. The update that follows is refused as well, and that is expected.
- Then sign in to your Zaltric account, open that shop from Your shops on your account home, change its currency there, and send the update again: that one carries the new currency and the converted prices together. Zaltric converts no prices itself, so your shop window keeps serving the old ones until it lands.
- If none of that fits, send your connection reference and the name of the website in Odoo through the contact form (zaltric.com/contact).
Still stuck?
The section “When something goes wrong” on the help page explains every message this screen can show. If that does not solve it, send us the whole message and your connection reference (shown on the app's Settings screen) through the contact form.
